Crypto is in overdrive right now - ramping up for an amazing year. The glorious Looking und Sounding Erik Friedlander & Ben Goldberg cds have arrived for the upcoming 2/21 street date and promotional/press mailings are flying out the door. Early "buzz" is WOW! Also, too, Nels Cline is in town writing out charts for the yet to be recorded Andrew Hill Tribute (actual conversation heard at Crypto HQ today: Nels- "Is Dweep boop skiddley mwah Mwah doot dweet dweet" triplets or quintuplets in this measure Jeff?" Jeff, "Those are quintuplets Nels AND YOU BETTER get a nanny!" Later, Jeff was off mixing a bit of the Bennie Maupin while the marketing department attempted to secure the highly coveted 2 cent stamps! Stay tuned!
