Sad, tragic and infuriating news in the Los Angeles improvised music community: guitarist Rod Poole was murdered in Hollywood last weekend when a pedestrian-driver dispute turned violent. Mr. Poole was stabbed to death in front of his wife. Two people -- apparently, another married couple, whose names we do not care to mention or even remember -- are now in custody in connection with the incident, which happened at 9:45pm on Sunday night, May 13th. Mother's Day.
